My love for watercolor stems from its interactive and spontaneous nature. There’s something magical about how watercolor flows and blends, creating soft, translucent colors and delicate light. Each time I paint, it feels like a dance between the water’s unpredictable movements and my own artistic control, always keeping me engaged and on my toes.

A quick sketch to start the day. No plan, just brushstrokes, color, and seeing where it goes. These little studies are my way of settling in when I’m feeling scattered – I always end up grounded and ready to jump into the rest of my work.

I finally finished this piece, and it feels like a special one. I’ve wanted to paint this passageway for years, but never quite knew how to approach it… And then something clicked. After taking a workshop with @marc_folly at @riversidea
